Aim and Objectives

Aim and Objectives

In my vision I want us to be a real local asset, that takes a humanistic, holistic, hands on, common sense approach to the very real issues involved in surviving homelessness and getting back to being an involved, productive member of society. We wish to do this by providing accommodation at a affordable rate and be social landlords.

Innovation, Education, Responsibility, Community, Humanity.
We will provide a good standard of housing at lower common market value and LHA rates. This is to provide value for money for tenants.
We will facilitate the provision of services both in and out of house. This is so as to provide "that what is best" for our tenants, individual and personal circumstances.
We will provide a clear and defined road map or journey for our tenants, with regular meetings and discussions. This is to help everyone involved, facilitate good communications and also to keep ourselves in tune with our tenants sometimes chaotic lives.

We will be social landlords that offer accommodation to vulnerable adults whom are homeless or are in a situation where they will be made homeless. We feel that this tackles multiple issues both as a business as well as the wider social issues.
We take referrals from local organisations, local councils, probation services as well as direct from organisation which have street outreach teams.
We will review our policies and procedures on a regular basis. To keep in line with new laws, regulations, best practice as well as our tenants experiences and feed back.

We will reinvest any profits right back into the business (property, training, services, certification or quality standards) as well as our local community and it's various related projects, organisations. We wish to be a non-profit social landlord that is here to make our community a better place to live in.
